Nature's Gallery Florist Owner Felicity

Meet
Felicity...

Hi, I'm Felicity the owner and principal florist at Nature's Gallery.

I have always always loved flowers and was inspired by my Mums love for flowers and fine art as I was growing up. In 2017 I  left a successful career to pursue my passion, floral design. I studied at the renowned Reaseheath College in Nantwich gaining a level 3 advanced diploma in floral design, I was awarded with a distinction for this. In 2021, after having my daughter I embarked on my level 4 higher diploma in floristry, completing this in 2023.

I competed in the floristry world cup in Manchester September 2023. This is the first time it has been held in the UK since it's inception in the 1970s, it was an honour to be asked to do this. I was part of a small team of three floral designers, achieving second place in the competition.

I founded Nature's Gallery Florist in 2020. I have designed flowers for multiple weddings, as well as funerals, sympathy bouquets and all of life's big events.

I currently work from my home studio, creating floral delights every day. I also lecture in floristry and have been lucky enough to enter some international competitions , including the world cup in 2023. I am a City and Guilds level 4 Qualified florist and truly love what I do every day. I am also a licensiate member of the Institute of Professional Florists (IPF).

I take inspiration from natural materials; flowers, berries, foliage - anything that nature provides. I strive to use seasonal flowers and work in the most eco - conscious way possible.

Outside of floristry I have a young daughter, Eleanor and lovely husband, Henry. Both of which keep me sane (and drive me a little insane).
